Sweetness

While Lincoln is "all boy" in some regards, he's also a very sweet and sensitive little person in other aspects.  For instance, he likes to greet strangers in public, from the safety of our shopping cart or my arms, but if a stranger reciprocates his greeting then Lincoln suddenly withdraws himself and quickly hides his face on my shoulder until he musters enough courage to peek into the open again.  Sometimes his sweetness comes at unexpected times and totally surprises me, like his sporadic requests for hugs and kisses.

Lincoln isn't exactly known for his long attention span, especially when it comes to public shows, performances and/or movies.  So I was surprised this weekend when my Mom and I took the kids to Busch Gardens and attempted to watch their Sesame Street 4D movie and Lincoln sat ever-so-patiently through the entire show.

We arrived at least 15 minutes early and he just sat...adorned in 3D glasses...with hands in his lap...and waited...

My Mom snapped this close-up with her iPhone.  Apparently, she also thought this was a photo-worthy moment.

What a sweet, sweet boy.
