One-on-One

I enjoy spending one-on-one time with the kids. Ava and I got to spend a lot of time together this weekend while Linc was recovering from his cold and Chris was working around the house and on homework.

We went to a local airport for lunch where we saw a couple planes land and one take off.

Ava thought this was too cool to be true.

We also went to the Paws to Read program at our library.  I've been wanting to do this for a long time and this was the first time it aligned with our schedule.  We'll definitely do it again because Ava and I both loved it :-)  Local therapy dogs visit the library and the kids read to them.  It's a win win for everyone!  This is Ava with Nugget.  She read to about four different dogs.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ava is goooood company!  I wish I could remember all of our conversations for forever because everything she says is simply worth remembering.  Love her!
