What's not to love? She's so amazing. I think we've officially struck a balance. We've reached a mutual understanding. She goes to the bathroom outside and she sleeps through the night. She knows she's not supposed to jump on excited people or counter surf for yummies in the kitchen but she just can't help herself. She has adapted to life under our roof but she's still her own person, er, dog. We can't get enough of her!
Stella and Louis are doing really well together! I think they have also reached a mutual understanding. Believe it or not, Louis seems to actually like having Stella around. He picks fights with her and he checks in on her when she's sleeping. They've come up with all these little games that they play together. Louis also keeps Stella in her place. He acts like a Hall Monitor enforcing all the rules. They're a comical duo.
Stella has finally claimed some sleepy spots in the main living space. A sleepy spot is a place where she feels comfortable to rest and still be able to see everything going on. This is her favorite indoor sleepy spot - behind the couch. She makes it look good, doesn't she?
This is her guilty face.
Guilty for crushing the plant.
Guilty for digging a hole at the plant's roots.
Guilty for not coming when called.
Guilty for having the cutest guilty face.
This is Stella's favorite sleepy spot on the patio.
Here she is enjoying it after a long walk on the trail.
Stella LOVES kids, especially her own...
After Stella's surgery (spay/neuter), the vet commented to me that Stella is "...a beautiful but funny dog."
I couldn't agree more.
Take this picture for example:
Do you see it?
Here's another angle:
In case you missed it, here's a close-up:
I'm pretty sure she's clueless that her tongue is not in her mouth.
She's funny like that.
But she sure is beautiful!

BLAST! It's so tough to be angry at something cute!!! I have to be really "disappointed" to get through it with sincere anger. (ish)
