When we realized that we were moving to Seattle we learned that we have distant family members who live in and around the area - so exciting! My Dad's cousin's daughter lives an hour and a half north of Seattle and close to Skagit Valley which is where the annual Tulip Festival is held. She invited us up there for the day to explore so we jumped at the opportunity. It was exciting to meet some "new" family members and to explore some more of this beautiful state of Washington.
This happened. Really though, are you surprised?
We got to go on a tractor ride around the tulip fields, too!
And there was face painting...
